Mountain & Moon was created as more than a jewellery label, it’s a lifestyle. Born from the desire to create a luxe jewellery line which can elevate and empower women across the globe, the exotic designs are strong, sexy, and forward, made for every woman who loves to make a statement.
Designers Ashton Cameron and Audrey Allen joined forces in 2015 with a shared affinity for the ‘more is more’ philosophy and a love for jewels which can transcend cultures, styles & eras. Whilst drawing inspiration from their own family backgrounds in India & Greece their emphasis is on designing high quality, timeless and unique styles with a very distinct signature aesthetic. There’s an unapologetic spirit behind the brand and a fresh & exciting appeal that stands out in the crowd. The diverse and often unexpected ranges have an underlying sense of adventure, relying on their belief in maximalist ideals. The original designs are focused on being both visually stunning and wearable, with distinctive flourishes, bold textures, and a love for colourful gemstones. The goal is always to elevate the buyer’s aesthetic with adornments that make them look and feel stunning.
Their opulent jewels have been featured by the likes of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Russh, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Cleo & Instyle.
While growing a brand with a cross-cultural mindset, the designers regularly venture deep into the lapidary capital of the world, Rajasthan, India to meet with their artisans, find inspiration for new designs and connect with the local communities. Across all in-house practices Mountain & Moon strives to be waste free and conscious of their impact. Partnering with IPHD and the Saheli Women foundation in India means there’s selfless power in every purchase. They create employment for women in ethical fashion manufacturing with a portion of all sales reinvested back into empowering these women in the rural village of Bhikamkor, Rajasthan with health services, education and community services.
